West Bromwich Albion (WBA) is an English football club based in West Bromwich, near Birmingham. Founded in 1878, the club is one of the oldest in England. The "Baggies", as they are often called, won the English championship in 1920 and celebrated five FA Cup triumphs, most recently in 1968. They play their home games at The Hawthorns. The club often moves between the Premier League and the EFL Championship. WBA is particularly well known for its intense rivalry with Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
