Collection: Swiss leagues

Switzerland has a multi-tiered league system in football. The highest league is the Super League, followed by the Challenge League as the second highest division. Below that is the Promotion League, the third highest league, and the 1. Liga, the fourth highest tier. Each league consists of a different number of teams competing against each other in a league system. The best teams are promoted to the higher league, while the worst are relegated. In addition, there is the Swiss Cup, a national cup competition that offers clubs from all leagues the chance to compete for the title.
