Aberdeen FC, founded in 1903, is a Scottish football club from Aberdeen and one of the most successful clubs in the history of Scottish football. Aberdeen FC plays its home matches at Pittodrie Stadium, one of the oldest stadiums in Scotland, with a capacity of approximately 20,000 spectators. The club has a dedicated fan base and a long tradition in Scottish football. Aberdeen is considered one of the "big" clubs outside of the two dominant teams, Celtic and Rangers, and remains a significant force in Scottish football.
