Collection: Challenge League

The Swiss Challenge League is the second highest division in Swiss football. It consists of 10 teams that compete against each other in the league system. At the end of the season, the first-placed club is promoted directly to the Super League, while the second-placed team plays a relegation match against the second-to-last team in the Super League for promotion. The last-placed team is relegated to the Promotion League. The Challenge League serves as a springboard for up-and-coming clubs and young talents who want to establish themselves in the second-highest league.
