AIK Solna, founded in 1891, is one of Sweden's oldest and most successful football clubs. The club, also known as "Gnaget", has won numerous national titles, including 12 Swedish championships and 8 Svenska Cupen victories. AIK has a passionate fan base and is one of the most popular clubs in the country. The club plays its home games at the Friends Arena in Solna, a suburb of Stockholm, which has a capacity of over 50,000 spectators. The club regularly plays in Allsvenskan, Sweden's top league, and has also participated in European competitions on a number of occasions.
